VOLUNTEER OF THE YEAR
The Volunteer of the Year Award is an honor presented by GBU Life to recognize a member who, through example and accomplishment, provided outstanding volunteer service to his or her community and/or district (if applicable) during the past year.
Eligibility
- The nominee must be a GBU Life member in good standing.
- Nominees of any age are eligible.
- The Volunteer of the Year Award can only be won once by an individual.
- GBU Home Office staff and other individuals compensated by the society as employees are not eligible to receive the award.
Award Description
- The recipient of this prestigious award will receive:
- A beautifully engraved award.
- A $1,000 donation award to his/her 501(c)(3) charity.
- Recognition in The Reporter magazine.
Submission Process
- Complete the Volunteer of the Year Nomination Form when you click on the “Submit Nomination” button on this page.
- Incomplete entries or entries received after the deadline will not be considered.
- All nomination forms must be received by Monday, August 3, 2026.
